Mycotoxin Symposium

In addition the following will interest attendees at the symposium:

This symposium will include overviews by experts on analytical methods for 5 major groups of mycotoxins - aflatoxins, fumonisins, ochratoxin A, trichothecenes and zearalenone/searalenols, as well as immunochemical assays for these mycotoxins. Each speaker will emphasise one or more techniques, particularly those used in their own laboratory, and their methods and recommendations. The principles, applications and solutions to problems in TLC, LC, GC, LC/MS. GC/MS, SFE/SFC, CE and immunochemical methods will be discussed. Some surveillance data for the mycotoxins will also be presented. The speakers will co-operate with exhibitors where possible, in demonstrations of the techniques. The symposium should be of great interest to both experienced and inexperienced scientists in the mycotoxin area, as well as scientists involved in food safety and quality assurance.
