Device, Models FDVC 5025P and FDVC 5027P, Manufactured
and Distributed by Custom Control Products Inc.

The above subject dairy equipment has been reviewed by Milk Safety
Branch and Food Engineering Branch and found to comply with the
applicable construction criteria, the intent of the Grade `A'
Pasteurized Milk Ordinance and Coded memo M-I-88-11 regarding the
use of computerized systems for public health controls on HTST
pasteurizers.

The programmable logic controller (Allen Bradley SLC 100) shall be
programmed in conformance with the ladder logic diagrams supplied
with the installation manuals. It shall be installed in accordance
with the internal wiring diagram, field wiring and appropriate
interconnect drawing which are also included with the installation

supplied to the regulatory agency prior to installation.

Model FDVC 5025P is intended to be used with those flow diversion
devices which have the air solenoids mounted on the valve actuators
such as the APV device. The Model FDVC 5027P is intended to be used
with flow diversion devices which utilize remote solenoids that are
located in the control panel such as Cherry-Burrell, Tri-Clover and

Any flow diversion device utilizing the Custom Controls Products,
Inc. system must be tested and pass all tests in the Grade `A'
Pasteurized Milk Ordinance for dual flow diversion devices. The
device panel box with the solenoids and the programmable controller
will have provisions for a seal and must be sealed after complying
with all applicable tests. In addition the SLC 100 will have a
plastic plate with provisions for a seal which denies access to the
programing port and EEPROM memory card. The EEPROM memory card
supplied by the firm has been modified so that it cannot be
permanently reprogrammed. The firm will place its own trademark on
the inside of each EEPROM memory card. If the regulatory agency has
any questions concerning the program in the SLC 100, the memory
card may be pulled from the SLC 100 to check for the distinguishing
trademark.
