If refused, food must be held at the port of entry, unless:
- CBP concurrence is obtained for export and food immediately exported from the port of
arrival under CBP supervision; or
- Directed to another location by CBP or FDA
Must notify FDA of hold location
- FDA and CBP are not liable for transportation, storage or other expenses resulting from any hold
