More consumers know sat fat - heart linkage than trans or omega 3 - heart linkage (PART)

Among the consumers who have heard of saturated fat:
78% say the fat raises the risk of heart disease, 1% say it lowers the risk, 1% say it has no effect on the risk, and 19% say they don't know.

Among the consumers who have heard of trans fat or trans fatty acid:
48% say the fat raises the risk of heart disease, 5% say it lowers the risk, 4% say it has no effect on the risk, and 43% say they don't know.

Among the consumers who have heard of omega-3 fatty acid:
6% say the fat raises the risk of heart disease, 51% say it lowers the risk, 4% say it has no effect on the risk, and 39% say they don't know.
